At Pos Malaysia, we are committed to exemplary waste management practices, recognizing our responsibility to minimize environmental impact. Our commitment begins with source reduction, emphasizing the use of sustainable materials and minimizing packaging to reduce waste at its origin. We prioritize the 7 Rs – Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Repurpose, Reuse, Recycle & Rot – implementing efficient sorting and separation systems at our operational hubs to divert materials from landfills. We conduct audit and monitoring of these waste.

Some other initiatives we have embarked on include installation of Maeko’s food composter in our premise and our courier waste bins in our retails. By promoting the use of eco-friendly packaging and collaborating with partners who share our environmental ethos, we aim to create a closed-loop system that reduces our carbon footprint. Our waste disposal methods adhere to the highest standards, ensuring the safe treatment of hazardous materials and preventing soil and water contamination. We believe that raising awareness and educating our internal and external stakeholders is vital, fostering a collective commitment to responsible waste management.
